SFSA member Abigail Dace will be exhibiting new works as part of
Ethereal Material, a group exhibition that explores how the artists respond to material characterized by unusual delicacy and high refinement - The Gallery at Willesden Green.
Abigail Dace uses traditional craft techniques to create 3D sculptures. Her works map tensions in space, creating an inner shape reliant on the outer form but independent from it. They illustrate the fragility of existence and the need
to individually interpret our boundaries to form who we are. If a boundary is removed the inner form must reassess its own position and shape.
20 July to 13 August 2010. Open daily 2pm to 6pm – Free entrance. Preview party: Thursday 22 July, 6-9pm - The Gallery at Willesden Green, Willesden Green Centre, 95 High Road, London NW10 2SF.
