‘Points of Contact’
considers visual and tactile experiences of architecture as starting points for a broader investigation into the nebulous overlaps and tensions between form and surface, the solid and the ephemeral.
The premise of the show is loosely based on Juhani Pallasmaa’s essay 'The Eyes of the Skin', which describes a dominance of vision within Western culture that ignores other tactile and sensory experiences.
