About Artist

Painter and printmaker Anne Krinsky creates installations
in response to archived collections. Since moving to the UK from Boston in 2012, she has received an Artists International Development Fund Grant and two Arts Council England Grants for the Arts. Her first project with a UK archive, From Absorb to Zoom / An Alphabet of Actions in the Women’s Art Library, culminated in a site-specific digital print installation at Goldsmiths University of London in 2015.
Her current project, Tide Line Thames, explores the shifting riverscape and its architectural structures between the Thames’ high and low tide lines. Its first phase was shown at the Gallery, Thames-Side Studios, for the 2016 Totally Thames Festival. For the 2017 Festival, Krinsky is creating new exhibitions. An installation of projected imagery will be shown in the Thames Tunnel Shaft of the Brunel Museum. She also has been commissioned by Canary Wharf Arts to produce large-scale images on aluminium panels for an installation in the Crossrail Place Roof Garden.
Krinsky’s works are in the collections of the British Museum, Boston Public Library, Paintings in Hospitals, England and collector Graham Gund.
Anne teaches acrylic painting and mono-printing workshops from her studio and in the community. She is a Certified Golden Artist Educator, trained In the latest materials and techniques from Golden Artist Colors.
