About Artist

I studied at Loughborough College of Art graduating in 1984 with a BA(Hons) 1st class in fine art printmaking, subsequently I went on to complete an MFA in fine art printmaking at Louisiana State University. I have worked as a foundation lecturer, print studio technician, print studio manager, university technical co-ordinator, IT & AV Manager & CIO. I am currently the University of the Arts London IT Director.
Towards the period of the mid-90's my career took a different direction and as a consequence my focus shifted towards a more intimate studio practice and not focused on exhibiting works. Throughout my working career I have always maintained a printmaking practice via a long term project with Oxford University press. I also never left the personal touchtone of the studio practice. I am influenced by the things I see and feel around me, how those interactions are symbolised and how that influences the studio practice.
