PG Dip Moving Image, Central St Martins School of Art, 1991-92
Director of HerTake International Women's Film Festival 1989-90, founding member of the Exploding Cinema Collective in 1991, Cinema Organiser London Filmmaker's Co-op from 1992-1996, Director Women on the Verge of...Technology (1994) Director of Viva 8 Film Festivals (1993-1996) manager for Cinenova Feminist Film Distribution 1997-2000, project manager for ArtsOnline at Arts Council England 2001-2003, project manager with FluxIT 2004-2012 and works as a freelance curator specialising in lens and light based media.
Hudson’s early work took the form of public interventions, site specific works and expanded cinema while her more recent studio work focuses on material memory and the relationships between time and matter.
Returning to her own practice in 2012, Hudson lives and works in South East London and is a founding member of the artist collective [ALLOY].
