Deptford Foundry May 2019 Launch Host SHAPESLewisham CEZ Launch Event.
SFSA lunched Deptford Foundry in May 2019. The event also hosted SHAPESLewisham Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) event, working with CEZ stakeholders STUDIO RAW, LEAN, The Albany, Goldsmiths, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and SFSA. The day opened with morning guest speeches from Justine Simons OBE, Deputy Mayor, Culture and the Creative Industries, Joe Dromey, Lewisham Councillor, Andre Bourne Ope Odueyungbo, Local Professional Photographer and Nichole Herbert Wood, CEO, SFSA. Then followed by a packed full day of out door performances from Goldsmiths Alchemy, students from Trinity Laban, SFSA members Open Studios and exhibitions from other local artists and community groups.
